An Ultraviolet system is a good update for any water filter such as reverse osmosis, nano- filtration, countertop filters etc.
What is the problem?
Bacteria grow very fast inside the water lines, storage tank, filter holders and cartridges because of secondary contamination. The raw water typically is bacteriological safe because the chlorine is a disinfectant. However, the water inside of filters is not 100% safe from bacterial contamination, because the filters remove or reduce the chlorine level and bacteria then can live and build colonies.

Progressive UV technology is ideal to solve the bacteriological problem and make your water even safer. The UV-system provides enough Ultraviolet to kill very dangerous bacteria such as Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Coliform, Giardia lamblia, Cryptosporidium etc.
Sandia Filter, LLC offers a UV system with stainless a steal body (SS304) or plastic body with a stainless steal insert. Both systems are certified by NSF and UL.
